Inclusion builds upon the concepts of diversity and equity and emphasizes the importance of creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all individuals, regardless of their backgrounds or identities. Inclusion recognizes that simply having diversity and equity is not enough and that individuals must feel valued, respected, and included to thrive.

DEI is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and that everyone should have access to the same opportunities and resources, regardless of their backgrounds or identities.
